2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 25,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 6 Film Festivals

  2. Impressive statistics, Mark. Didn’t expect to be your top commenter but I’m glad I am 🙂

  3. Excuse my French but HOLY SHIT: The busiest day of the year was December 20th with 1,577 views.

  4. Here’s to another great year on MM! Cheers my friend!

  5. Awesome stats, Mark! Congrats on all your blog success. I’ve really enjoyed ‘chatting’ with you on the blogosphere, who knows we’ll meet up one day, in NYC perhaps? 😉

    • Thanks Ruth. You’ve been one of my biggest contributors and for that I’m very grateful. I don’t pay too much attention to stats but it’s still nice to know that people stop by. Tribeca here we come! 😉

      • Indeed Mark, the comments are what makes the blog goes around. Hope to ‘chat’ more with you in the coming year. I’m sure we’ll have tons to talk about when I post my open letter to GB 😉

      • I’ve been taking a bit of break from blogging recently Ruth but I’m just recharging the batteries a little and I’ll be back as usual very soon. I’ll also have a new feature coming up as well. I starting to get a little worried that I was burning out so a break was required. An open letter to Gerry you say? Haha! Nice one. 🙂

  6. Good stuff dude! Great 20th December, what did you do, share your secret!? 🙂

Look forward to plenty more of your stuff in 2013 🙂

  7. Superb stuff Mark, well done on a brilliant year! Yours was one of the first blogs I discovered and has been, without a doubt, one of my favourites over the year. Very much looking forward to reading more in 2013.

    • Thank you very much Chris. Those are kind words indeed. In all honesty, stats don’t bother me too much, I’m more happy with the little community that has been built, of which, you have been a big part. Thanks again man.
